Parents, please keep an eye out on your children.  This world is a very disturbing place sometimes.  Stories like this make me very uneasy.

I worked at a police department for six months and heard horror stories that I could never imagine happening to someone in this lifetime.  When it involves children, it honestly seems more unreal.

DISTURBING: Rockford Man Offers 15-year-old Girl $1K to See Her Naked

Rockford Police arrested a grown man on Monday, July 29th, 2024 after allegedly offering a 15-year-old girl $1,000 to see her naked.

After receiving a call about a 15-year-old girl being harassed to show her body to Joshua Wahmhoff, the girl told Winnebago County Sheriff's Deputies that she had been offered money by the man since February of this year.  Joshua would offer money every two weeks.

He actually admitted to authorities that he did exactly what the girl stated after he was arrested.  At this time, he is being charged with enticing a child to remove clothes.

He is also a convicted sex offender; convicted of criminal sexual assault in McHenry County on December 12th, 2008.

Please, monitor your children.  Be vigilant of what they're doing online.  There are some sick people in this world waiting to take advantage of minors and they could be someone very close to you.
