No, it's not the carrot recall. Sugar Foods announced that certain Fresh Gourmet Santa Fe-flavored Tortilla Strips pouches contain undeclared wheat.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, this poses a risk to those with wheat allergies or sensitivities.

What to Check for in Your Pantry

If you have these in your pantry, take a look at this UPC code: 7 87359 17504 6. The best-by date is June 20, 2025. The bags are 3.5 ounces.

Sugar Foods says there have been "no illnesses reported to date," but those with wheat allergies could experience severe or life-threatening reactions if they eat the strips.

Where the Affected Products Were Sold

These pouches were sold in 22 states, including Illinois, between September 20 and November 11 of this year. Wisconsin is not one of the states that sell salad toppers.

If you bought those, check the package to see if the UPC and best-by-date match. If so, return them to the store where you bought them and ask for a refund.
