Stunning Illinois Spot Named One of America’s ‘Best New Hotels’

It's a new year and a new chance to try even newer things. I mean, why not, you only have one life to live, right?

That's been my adage for some time now. Why skimp on things like a nice place to stay when you can just throw a few more bucks down and stay somewhere awesome?

I think "awesome" might be putting it lightly when talking about this brand-new hotel.

That's because USA Today's 10 Best travel poll just listed this Chicago joint as one of America's best new hotels.

It's called the St. Regis and well, I'll just let USA Today explain why it's the new spot to stay:

The St. Regis never spares any detail, as illustrated by its new location in Chicago. There's an expansive riverfront terrace, dog-friendly accommodations situated next to beautiful Lakeshore East Park, an entire wellness floor, and two unique restaurants featuring Japanese fusion and Tuscan steakhouse cuisines.

Sounds incredible right? TripAdvisor reviewers agree too. Zach S called it a "truly 5-star luxurious experience in downtown Chicago" while Jake S called the St. Regis a "stunning hotel" with "impeccable service."

When you hear those types of words describing the vibe of a hotel you should also know that a pretty hefty price tag will be close by.

So hopefully you're sitting down while reading this because an overnight stay at the St. Regis won't be cheap.

Right now, Expedia has a stay for tonight priced at $595 but that's OK. Remember, we're here for a good time, not a long time. Might as well make it count.
