With the cost of living skyrocketing in Illinois, it puts residents in a difficult spot when it comes to just getting by on essentials. If you don't have a significant other, you could be searching for a roommate to be able to afford housing. If you're stuck in a crunch, there isn't time to be picky. It's hard enough living with someone, but when you're thrown in a situation where you're not compatible, things could get ugly.

The local police were called to a home in Joliet because of a disturbance. When the officers arrived, the pair of roommates, a man and woman, were in a heated argument over the sexuality of his daughter. The woman claimed her roommate was drunk and throwing things at her, though there was no evidence to support the accusations. Both refused to leave. The guy said he was going to make a sandwich and go to bed, so the cops left.
A couple of hours later, the police were called again about the same residence. When the squad pulled up, the man was sitting in the garage, bloody and bruised. The victim had been sitting in the garage when his roommate came out to grab a box of wine. Then, the suspect started beating the poor guy with the box of wine. Then, she bit him. Of course, she was arrested. I don't think they'll be living together anymore.
