Flannel Jam is an annual event in Rockford that is a very special night of live music and more, benefiting two amazing charities.
Learn More About Flannel Jam
What is Flannel Jam? Well, first of all, we have to thank our friends from Lawncare By Walter. Without them, this wouldn't be possible. The full name of the event is Flannel Jam Country + Rock Confidential. You won't know the bands until they hit the stage. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. They're national touring Country and Rock bands.

The show is held in the fall, which is flannel season. It's not just a concert. The bands will play acoustic sets. Take on some songs. Plus, there will be a Q&A with the artists, so you'll get the inside scoop on their world. You never know what will happen. Here's hoping for a big jam at the end.

Oh, by the way, while you're singing, dancing, and having a great time, you're helping two amazing charities. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Easterseals Rockford's Autism Program. Thanks to you, we've raised thousands of dollars for those incredible programs.
Flannel Jam started in the fall of 2023. That first one was at the Coronado Theatre. The surprise line-up was stellar, featuring Shane Proffit and Charles Kelly from Lady A. The evening was such a success, it would definitely be back for year two.
The second annual Flannel Jam Country and Rock Confidential had a change of venue to the Hard Rock Live in the Hard Rock Casino Rockford. The show added a Classic Rock band into the mix, and it went over well. Wayland kicked off the show, and after they played, I believe that they personally thanked everyone for coming. Tommy DeCarlo from Boston covered the Rock end of the night, and it was a good old-fashioned sing-along. Lo Cash finished the night off with a bang. So much fun!
What about Flannel Jam 3? YES!!!! It's coming this fall. We are so excited. I promise you'll get some details soon. We are working hard behind the scenes to make it even bigger and better this year.
