Believe it or not, this year is the 20th anniversary of the Chicago White Sox winning the World Series, and Illinois fans are excited because that 2005 team is having a reunion.
Chicago White Sox 2005 World Series Champions Reunion
When it comes to my baseball fandom, most people say I can't like the teams I do, but I just don't care. I'm a Chicago fan, so I like both the Cubs and White Sox. I've had the opportunity to go to see both teams live many times in my life.

Both organizations have put a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. When the White Sox won the World Series, that was a special sports moment for me. I had never had a good baseball team to cheer on in an MLB championship, and that was a lot of fun.
I remember watching the 1983 and 1994 White Sox teams not get their opportunity to go to the World Series, and it hurt as a fan. That 2005 group made up for all those disappointments and long years waiting. They were fun to watch and easy to cheer for. I can't believe it's already been 20 years.
