I'm a big fan of minor league sports. It's not just a game; the teams put on a show, and it's entertainment for the fans. The promotions are so creative, it just makes for a good time to be had by all.

The Madison Mallards know how to do it. In fact, recently, they broke a world record at their ballpark for the world's largest high school pep band with over 500 students performing. That would've been so cool to see live.

According to WMTV...

“I have kids that play in bands in the area and I was at a concert one night and I said ‘man it would be cool if we figured out a way to bring the bands to the ball park’ and then we thought what better way to do it than bringing them all together, give them free tickets to the game and break a world record."

“It’s really, really nice to be able to end the year in such a great community to be able to play a last hurrah. I’ll cherish this memory forever.
