New ‘Sophisticated Country’ Eatery Coming To Northern Illinois This Summer

When my family moved from Rockford to Pecatonica almost three years ago I learned a few things very quick:

• I will have to be ok with filling my car's gas tank more often.
• I need to plan out my shopping/grocery trips in advance.
• I need to not hate cooking because there are not a lot of take out options in our area.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE living where we do, but as a person who was born and raised in Rockford, driving more than 25 minutes to get to Target took some real getting used to.

Another thing I miss about living in Rockford is the amount of breakfast/brunch spots we had to choose from, so I was pretty pumped to see someone post this in one of the Pecatonica area Facebook groups the other day:

I just drove by Diamond Motors and noticed a sign that said Egg One Five coming soon. Anyone have any info?

New Brunch Bar Opening in Pecatonica, Illinois

For those that travel Highway 20 from Rockford towards Freeport often, you have probably noticed this building by NITE Equipment and Conger Rd....

Diamond Motors has been located at this location for several years now, but for many years before the dealership moved in, the building was a restaurant that many people in the Winnebago/Pecatonica area have missed. Well, my friends, get ready for Egg One Five...

I'm not going to lie, I'm already stoked to try this place based on the creative name and logo alone. LOL!

When Will Egg One Five Open?

Egg One Five has not announced a specific opening date yet, but they did mention June 2024 in one of their comments.

Many people are also wondering what will happen to Diamond Motors, and the answer is nothing...they are staying in the same location.
