What Mom Really Wants for Mother's Day

As a mom, I am qualified to say that what most moms want for Mother's Day is simple; they want to SPEND TIME WITH THEIR CHILDREN!

Sure getting gifts, being spoiled, and relaxing all day is pretty cool, but ultimately, we just want to enjoy a special day with the ones we love most.

If your mom loves food, take her to a nice brunch or cook her a nice meal.

If your mom loves pampering, book a spa day you can both enjoy together.

If your mom loves to shop AND eat, take her The Mercato at Lino's this Mother's Day!

Sneak Peek of the New Mercato By Lino's

Located at 8400 E Riverside Blvd in Loves Park, Illinois, The Mercato by Lino's is a new shopping center, (made out of shipping containers), highlighting local vendors and delicious eats.

The Mercato won't technically be ready to open to the public until this June, but on Mother's Day they are giving us a sneak peek of the fun to come!

This special Mother's Day event from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 11 will give us the chance to meet and shop from 15 different vendors that will have permanent spots in The Mercato when it officially opens.

These local vendors include:

  • Rockford Art Deli
  • Meg's Daily Grind
  • Dolce Desserts
  • Craft + Foster
  • Bark on Mulford...and more!

Doesn't this sound like a great way to spend some quality time with Mom on Mother's Day...you can even treat her to a delicious Lino's meal at their Summer Shed before or after you shop! (Be sure to make a reservation beforehand though!)
