Have You Been To Any Of The ‘Most Haunted’ Places In Central Minnesota?

When it comes to spooky season, few places do it better than Central Minnesota. From Molitor's Haunted Acres to the Palmer House, there are freights everywhere you look... if you aren't too scared to open your eyes!

THE PALMER HOUSE 

Of course Sauk Centre's Palmer House tops the list as it is the most well-known of the supposedly 'haunted' places in Central Minnesota. The hotel has been shown on Ghost Adventures and Chasing Paranormal.

LITCHFIELD OPERA HOUSE 

Opened in 1900, the Litchfield Opera House has been attracting paranormal investigators for several years.

THE ANOKA STATE HOSPITAL 

The self-proclaimed 'Capital of Halloween,' Anoka is also home to a hospital with a spooky past. According to the Minnesota Haunted Houses website, this location has had reports of 'phantom footsteps, noises, laughter, whispers and cold spots in both the tunnels and building.

HAUNTED DAIRY QUEEN  

Located in St. Anthony, Minnesota this ice cream shop is allegedly haunted by laughing children, per Minnesota Haunted Houses.

"This Dairy Queen is rumored to be haunted by the sounds of children laughing and the sounds of employees' names being called have been heard after closing. Suspicious orders print up that were never ordered by anyone in the realm of living and items have been know to vanish or fall loudly off the cooler shelves. Cold spots have also been reported here."

FERGUSON'S CEMETARY 

Located in Norwood Young America, the cemetery allegedly 'has a ghostly little boy who likes to look out over a tombstone,' according to Minnesota Haunted Houses.
