Kenyon Man Killed in Car Crash Identified
A 61 year old Kenyon man was killed in a head-on collision with a semi Tuesday morning on Highway 60 between Faribault and Kenyon. The Minnesota State Patrol says William Matthew Blose was heading west about four miles west of Kenyon and crossed the center line at Jenkins Avenue in Richland Township, Rice County hitting a eastbound semi.
The Rice County Sheriff's Office, Kenyon Fire Department, North Ambulance and Minnesota Department of Transportation all responded to the crash which occurred approximately 10:15 Tuesday morning.
The State Patrol reports Blose was wearing his seat belt and the vehicle airbag did deploy.
The driver of the semi was identified as Allen Robert Patrin, 42, of Zumbrota. Patrin was wearing a seat belt and suffered no injury in the collision.
