Many events have gone virtual this year, and we can add another to that list: the Holidazzle. The annual celebration usually takes place in Loring Park in Minneapolis but this year, due to COVID, it will all be virtual.

The Minneapolis Downtown Council made the announcement Thursday, according to WCCO, that it will be a virtual celebration. The Vice President of External Relations, Minneapolis Downtown Council, Leah Wong, said that it "'was a difficult decision, but the right decision. Our community’s health and well-being are most important as we head into the holiday season.'"

There is no schedule just yet for the virtual Holidazzle, but there will be one released at the beginning of November. Now we can participate in the Holidazzle festivities and not have to commute into Downtown Minneapolis, which is kind of a nice perk about it being virtual.

What we do know about this year's virtual Holidazzle, though, is that there will be "holiday-themed activities and interactive engagement" and the celebration "will still offer holiday fun for all ages and abilities."
