For those who were looking to camping in State Parks to Socially Distance yourself, unfortunately you'll have to find another plan.

The Department of Natural Resources has placed a temporary ban on any camping and lodging at state parks, forest and recreation areas. According to the tweet by the DNR, camping sites will be "for day use only" until May 1st. The change in policy is to "help ensure the health of all Minnesotans".

However, this "ban" does not effect all other outdoor activities such as walking, running, fishing, and hunting to name a few. The DNR does ask that you still abide to social distancing guidelines while participating in said activities.
