If you're looking for the next big thing to binge-watch, the Minnesota DNR EagleCam might be just what you're looking for.

Sure, there's Cobra Kai, Bridgerton or Wonder Woman 1984 that are all popular on Netflix right now. Maybe The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu is more your speed. But if you're looking for what life is like as a bald eagle here in Minnesota, then you'll definitely want to check out the Minnesota DNR's EagleCam!

The popular live look-in at the nest of a pair of bald eagles who happen to call the Land of 10,000 Lakes home is back up and running for another season on the Minnesota Department of Resources website (and below.)

It actually went live back in November of 2020 but didn't feature much activity until recently. However, if the cam happens to be down at the exact moment you sit down to check it out (it IS subject to whatever it is the eagles are doing at the time), there are several other Best-Of EagleCam clips available, including the always-popular 'eagle chicks feeding' or 'eagle parents snuggling at night,' not to mention the 'first egg being laid' series. (Just click on the EagleCam page HERE to check them out.)

The EagleCam is all part of the Minnesota DNR's Nongame Wildlife Program, which, the site says, is "one of the most innovative and successful programs of its kind in the nation," the site noted. It helps restore habitats, as well as preserves and protects thousands of wildlife species here in Minnesota.

As a part of the program, in addition to the EagleCam, the DNR Nongame Wildlife program also features the FalconCam, the FishCam, the Mississippi River Headwaters cam, and the Big Bog State Recreation Area cam. You can read more about the program (and make a monetary donation as well) HERE.

And, if you're still in a naturalist mood after checking out the EagleCam, keep scrolling to take a look at some of these other natural wonders you'll only find here in the North Star State!
