The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. The weather is typically nice - I probably just jinxed us, sorry - and we're fortunate to have a great view of the city's fireworks. We BBQ each year and watch the sky light up from our deck.

Many people venture out to get a closer look at their town's Independence Day celebration, and it seems like every Minnesota town has something planned. There will be parades, music, and fireworks all across the state. The party includes live music, food, beverage, and craft vendors and the main event is the amazing fireworks display which is the biggest in the entire state.

This year's huge celebration will feature various musical performances including a symphony orchestra, a Tom Petty tribute, and a DJ collective playing hip-hop and dance remixes.

Admission is free and this event is handicap accessible. If you decide to go, you should know, that outside food is prohibited so leave your cooler at home. You can bring one empty water bottle to fill up onsite or quench your thirst at any of the beverage vendors. Food will also be available onsite.
