From the street, it's a plain, unassuming building but inside, it's home to Minnesota's 'Bucket List' restaurant.

This eatery has been dubbed Minnesota's 'Bucket List' restaurant by a national survey, but I'm guessing you probably haven't been there or heard of it, even though it's just 90 miles away from Rochester.

The travel website Cheapism.com published a list called 'The Bucket List Restaurant In Your State,' where they singled out what they picked as the nation's best restaurants. What exactly IS a 'bucket list' restaurant? Cheapism explained:

We've scoured the country for some of the most swoon-worthy cuisines in every state. These are the often-iconic restaurants where you'd go to celebrate a special occasion.

So which one made the list for Minnesota? I was thinking it was likely a restaurant located in the Twin Cities, right? Maybe Murray's, or Bar La Grassa, or Spoon and Stable. Those are all good guesses (and great restaurants!) And while their choice IS is Minneapolis, it isn't any of those. In fact, I'd not even heard of this place.

It's Travail Kitchen and Amusements. And according to their website, they're now located along Hennepin Avenue in the Lowry Hill District in Minneapolis while they remodel their permanent home on West Broadway in Robbinsdale.

Apparently, though, Travail Kitchen and Amusements is one amazing restaurant. It's "a rustic-chic foodie hotspot run by three James Beard Award semi-finalists who aim to 'curate a chef-driven customized dining spectacular,'" Cheapism said.

And, according to their website, they debuted their uniquely Minnesota Uffda offerings a few years ago, calling it a  "Scandanavian, midwestern-inspired menu in collaboration with the amazingly talented Karyn Tomlinson, 'the queen of pork', whose resume includes the Chef De Cusine at local Corner Table and spending an entire winter cooking at Fäviken," their site noted.

So, yeah, there it is... Minnesota's 'Bucket List' restaurant. Which place gets YOUR vote for a 'Bucket List' restaurant here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes? And, just which places are the most popular CHAIN restaurants in the North Star State? Keep scrolling to find out!
