Minnesota’s Eaglets Are Nearly Two Months Old – And Growing

St Paul  (KROC AM News) -  All is well with the two bald eagles that were hatched in late March in a nest in the Twin Cities area.

The nest is under the observation of the Minnesota DNR as part of its EagleCam program that provides live coverage of the eagle family.

The eggs were laid in mid-February during the coldest stretch of wintry weather.

The eggs hatched March 26th and 28th and the eaglets have been growing rapidly ever since and are nearly as large as their parents.

The eaglets are already flapping their wings and the DNR says they will likely fledge by the end of June.
