Minnesota’s Valleyfair Amusement Park Is Now Taking Reservations
After a year of not doing anything, I am super excited for this summer. I'm going to be busy doing everything I possibly can like attending concerts, going to Twins' games, and visiting Valleyfair with my kids.
It looks like most events and attractions are coming back this summer and I fully expect them all to have new safety policies in place. Valleyfair already announced its plan for the summer. Read what to expect when you visit the amusement park below.
Not All Rides Will Be Open & Capacity Will Be Limited
Not all of the rides at the amusement park will be available when it opens on May 22nd and the guests must preplan their visit. Valleyfair's website explains, "Valleyfair and Soak City will open with limited capacity in the park so you can maintain proper social distancing from other guests. To ensure that happens, you will need to purchase tickets or Season Passes online in advance for your visit, and you will need to make a reservation for your visit date and arrival time in advance."
You can start planning because Valleyfair is now accepting reservations. You can reserve a date and time to visit the park, here.
What to Expect When You Visit Valleyfair
- At least one member of your group will be required to have the park's mobile app on their phone.
- Everyone above the age of 2 will be required to wear facemasks.
- Screenings and temperature checks will be required before anyone enters the park.
- Valleyfair will also promote hygiene and social distancing with signs throughout the park. These signs will encourage people to wash their hands frequently, avoid touching their face, and keep their mask on at all times.
