UPDATE - The young woman was located this afternoon and was transported to a hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound on one of her legs.

St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a statewide Missing Person Alert for a St. Paul teenager who may have been the victim of a shooting.

The St. Paul Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in finding 18-year-old Hsa Law Yaw Say. The news release says she was in the area where a shooting occurred early this morning. St. Paul police responded around 4 AM and found evidence of a shooting, but the young woman could not be located and has not been heard from since.

The Missing Person Alert describes her as Asian, around 4 foot 11, weighing about 85 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is possibly wearing a black sweater or leather jacket and jeans of an unknown color. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the St. Paul Police Department at 651-266-5650.
