Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A well-known retired Rochester businessman has died from injuries suffered in a recent motorcycle crash.

According to an obituary posted by Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home in Rochester, the crash that led to Raymond Price's death last Wednesday occurred outside Price Utah. He was 82 years old.

As a young man, Price joined his father's company, Rochester Silo and he and his brother later became co-owners of the company. His obituary notes the firm was the first US silo manufacturer to sell its products in the Soviet Union and later China. It also discusses the Price family's diversification with the development of Rockwood Retaining Walls and a variety of other businesses that include Geneva manufacturing and Mack Trucks of Rochester.

The obituary also covers his passion for snowmobiling, motorcycling, golfing, and a variety of other outdoor activities that he continued to enjoy until his death.

A visitation for Price will take place on August 6 from 4 to 7 PM at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home. A funeral mass is scheduled on August 7th at 10 AM at the Co-Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist in downtown Rochester.
