Pizza Hut Is Hiring the ‘Ultimate Sports Fan’ to Eat, Travel for $50K a Year
Every sports fan's dream job is about to become a reality for one lucky person.
Pizza Hut is looking to hire someone for its All-American position, in which the person who lands the gig will get to attend every single Division 1 championship, from football to women's volleyball, men's basketball to softball and everything in between.
The gig, which runs November 14-June 30, 2017, pays $50,000 (and we assume comes with boatloads of pizza). You can apply here until November 6.
What exactly is this job?
We’re looking for the ultimate college sports fan.
The Pizza Hut All-American will have unparalleled access to all NCAA championships for the 2016-17 season. As he/she travel from city-to-city and championship-to-championship, the All-American will be responsible for sharing their journey and showcasing how Pizza Hut is fueling fandom and celebrating NCAA championships.
He/she have a proven track record of creating great content, with a detailed understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. The All-American should be ready to roll at all times and able to professionally handle everything from a live media interview to a Facebook Live broadcast.
The All-American will be on the road. A lot. So, he/she should be prepared for adventure, but also prepared to face any challenge – from flight delays and rain delays, to finding a dry cleaner that can get grass stains out of a mascot costume.
Until Papa John's starts a contest in which you can win a Super Bowl ring, we're going to go ahead and say this is the best thing imaginable for any pizza-loving sports fan. Good luck.
