Police Release Name of Rochester Teenager Killed in Shooting

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Police Department today released the name of the teenager who was shot to death last Friday.
Police Captain Casey Moilanen says 18-year-old Mikayal Gordon was a Rochester resident. Gordon was pronounced dead at St. Mary's Hospital after Rochester police officers found him, and a 20-year-old man, suffering from gunshot wounds in the hallway at the Villages of Essex Apartments. The 20-year-old man's name has not been released, and at last report, he was still hospitalized in critical condition.
The officers were sent to the property around 3:30 a.m. on Friday to investigate reports of a shooting. Rochester police have yet to report any arrests in the case.
