For the first time ever, the wildly popular 'Music in the Zoo' concert series has been cancelled.

The unfortunate news came last Friday as the Promotions Company, Sue McLean and Associates, shared the info on the Music in the Zoo Facebook page.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Music in the Zoo concert season due to COVID-19 and the State of Minnesota social distancing parameters.

For 27-years, Music in the Zoo has become a staple to the Minnesota Zoo and summer time in the Twin Cites. Last year, the concert series hosted many different performers including, Belle & Sebastian, Conor Oberst, Mark Cohn, and Josh Ritter.

The health and safety of our fans, crew, artists and partners is our top priority and we don't want to compromise the magical experience of Music in the Zoo.
