Lake City, MN (KROC AM News) - About an hour after a statewide alert was issued for a missing southeast Minnesota man, he was found safe.

Here is the message from the Lake City PD:

Richard Dose has been found and he is safe. Thank you for your assistance!

The public is being asked to help learn the whereabouts of a missing southeast Minnesota man.

The Lake City Police Department is asking for assistance in locating 38-year-old Richard J. Dose.

The department says he was last seen the morning of Oct 19 leaving his residence.

The department says:

“There has been no contact with family or friends since then and because of health concerns, authorities are concerned for his welfare."

Dose is described as 6’01”, 180 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. His vehicle is a black 1999 Ford Explorer, MN license plate FGE-528.
