Well, it's November now so the thought of the white stuff falling again shouldn't be too much of a surprise, should it?

While we've already had snow across parts of our neck of the woods this season. There was that weekend in October when flurries hit parts of our area, though it didn't stick around long, and certainly wasn't enough that we had to shovel it.

And, this past weekend, there were some slick conditions around parts of Minnesota caused by some snowfall Friday night into Saturday morning. The State Patrol said there were 118 crashes between 6 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday alone-- even though only a tenth of an inch of snow was reported.

But that could all change here in Rah-Rah-Rochester Tuesday night into Wednesday. And, we might have to bust out the snow shovels too. The National Weather Service office in La Crosse has said 1 to 3 inches of the white stuff could be falling.

"Snow will overspread the area Tuesday night, tapering off Wednesday morning. Total snowfall of 1 to 3 inches is likely, with the higher amounts presently expected to fall roughly along and just north of the Interstate 90 corridor. Continue to monitor the latest forecast, as the area of heaviest snowfall may still shift north or south. Expect a slippery commute Wednesday morning," the NWS website said.

It looks like I'll have to head up to the attic above our garage today or tomorrow to bring down the shovels for the upcoming season-- even though I'm not down raking and mulching all the leaves in our yard yet!
