Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man with a history of drunk driving arrests has been ordered to prison.

49-year-old Talib Ali was recently given a 4-years prison sentence after it was found he had violated the terms of his probation for a 2017 felony DUI conviction. In that case, he was given a stayed prison sentence but was ordered to jail for a total of 365 days and was placed on probation for 7-years. His new sentence gives him credit for the 256 days he has spent in jail. With good behavior, he could be released in just under 2-years.

Ali’s criminal history lists 5 drunk driving convictions dating back to 2010. His two more recent offenses were prosecuted under the state’s felony DUI law.
