Rochester Police Report Motorcyclist Killed in N. Broadway Crash

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A section of North Broadway in Rochester is closed this morning while the Police Department investigates a fatal crash.

Police Captain Casey Moilanen says a man riding a motorcycle was killed after colliding with another vehicle near the intersection of North Broadway and Northern Heights Drive Northeast. The crash was reported at 8:08 AM when the motorcyclist was hit by a vehicle while the other driver was attempting to enter North Broadway from the Gentling Dental Office driveway about a block south of the busy intersection. The investigation into the deadly incident closed down the northbound lanes of North Broadway between Elton Hills Drive and Northern Heights Drive.

The names of those involved and other details about the fatal crash have not been released. It is also not known how long the busy roadway will be closed for the investigation.
