Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester School Board has agreed to contract with the Minnesota School Boards Association to conduct a search for an interim superintendent.
Current superintendent Michael Munoz announced his decision to resign in February. He will step down at the end of June.
The district will operate under an interim superintendent until a permanent successor is on the job. It’s expected the person will be hired for one year.
The MSBA was one of four firms that responded to the district’s request for proposals. The contract with the MSBA will cost the district $8500.
