It's something most hunters only dream of, and a story worth repeating.  According to outdoorlife.com, back on November 3, 2012, Dylan Beach, who was a mere 12-years-old at that time, bagged an amazing 27-point buck in Otter Tail County, Minnesota.  The buck broke the then-existing Otter Tail County record and was ranked as one of the top ten whitetails harvested in Minnesota.  Dylan used a Remington .270.  Minnesota DNR states the buck weighed 229 pounds and was aged at 5.5 years.  Boone and Crockett scorers estimated a green score of more than 241 inches.
Prior to the amazing kill, Dylan had bagged a doe and two spiked bucks in previous hunting seasons.  All I can say is wow.  To read the entire story and see pictures of Dylan and his buck, check it out outdoor life.
