Section 1A Dominates State True Team Track and Field Meet

We knew that Section 1A was going to send a lot of teams to the State Meet, but what we didn't know was that the top three teams in the state all came from Section 1.

It never happened before when a wild card team took home first place in the Minnesota State Track True Team Meet. Then, it happened twice.

First off it was Hopkins who brought home the Class AAA title on the Boys Side. 18 Hours later, St. Charles did the same.

Section 1A was so dominating that they also took home 2nd and 3rd place in the meet. Lewiston/Altura earned second place while Lanesboro/Fillmore Central/Mabel-Canton finished 3rd. Rushford-Peterson/Houston took home sixth. The top 3 teams in the state all came from Section 1A, along with 4 in the top 6. Truly an incredible feat

On the girl's side, GMLOK brought home 3rd and LFCMC took 4th which just showed the dominance once more from Section 1A.

It was an incredible season for many athletes in the area, congrats them on a job well done.
