The regular season for volleyball is winding down and the section tournaments are right around the corner. This is the time of year that teams are making their final adjustments and look to be playing their volleyball of the season.

Section 1 is loaded from Class A through Class AAAA with many talented teams, including four in the Top 10 in Class A, two in the Top 10 in Class AA, and three in the Top 10 in Class AAA and Class AAAA.

Class A Minnesota High School Volleyball Rankings

Teams in Section 1 did not move when compared to the rankings of last week. Bethlehem Academy remained at #4, Mabel-Canton at #5, Kenyon-Wanamingo at #6, and Spring Grove at #8.

Minneota jumped up to #1 from #3 as Russell-Tyler-Ruthton fell from #1 to #2 and Mayer Lutheran fell from #2 to #3.

Class AA Minnesota High School Volleyball Rankings

Zumbrota-Mazeppa and Cannon Falls remained at #2 and #6 in the rankings this week. Zumbrota-Mazeppa is coming off an impressive week, winning six matches including a takedown of #9 in Class AAA Byron. Cannon Falls had a strong week, too, topping #3 in Class AAA Kasson-Mantorville in part of their three wins.

The entire Top 10 remained the same in Class AA, including Nova Classical at #1, who is 28-0 on the season.

Class AAA Minnesota High School Volleyball Rankings

Kasson-Mantorville, Stewartville, and Byron remained in the Top 10 this week with the KoMets at #3, Stewartville at #6, and Byron at #9. Combined with Zumbrota-Mazeppa and Cannon Falls in Class AA, the HVL  has five teams ranked in the Top 10 in their respective classes.

Marshall remained at #1 in the rankings once again in Class AAA, sitting at 25-2 on the season.

Class AAAA Minnesota High School Volleyball Rankings

Lakeville North, Northfield, and Lakeville South all represent Section 1 in the Top 10 this week in the Class AAAA rankings. Lakeville North remained at #2 this week, Northfield at #4, and Lakeville South at #6.

Rochester Mayo received votes this week, but the Spartans just missed out on the Top 10. The Spartans were 5-2 on the week, their two losses including falling to #4 Northfield in 5 and a tough loss to Lakeville North over the weekend.
