Now You Can Spend a Night in a Covered Wagon Here in Minnesota
If you've lived in Minnesota for any length of time, you've probably camped at one of our 10,000 lakes. But have you camped by the lake in a covered wagon?
Well, you now can. It's all thanks to the crew at Rose Lake Glamping, located on Rose Lake, in Vergas, Minnesota. Lake Rose is in the middle of Minnesota's Lake Country, in Otter Tail County, about 4 and a half hours northwest of Rochester, around a half-hour south of Fargo/Moorhead.
Their Airbnb listing explains the experience like this:
Experience a one-of-a-kind stay in a Conestoga covered wagon on the shores of Rose Lake. Each wagon sleeps 4 guests with a king-size bed and bunk bed. Guests have the option of renting a single wagon or both.
There are currently two wagons for rent-- and the Airbnb listing says they're available for about $150 a night. Keep scrolling to check out what they look like, and what else is included in the uniquely Minnesota rental.
If spending a night or two in a covered wagon doesn't trip your trigger, so to speak, keep scrolling to check out 10 OTHER way-cool Airbnbs and VRBOs that the North Star State has to offer that would be perfect for a weekend getaway this winter season!
