It was a fun battle between #1 Mabel-Canton and #4 Caledonia in the next match that saw the Cougars come away with a 3-1 win despite the Warriors really finding their rhythm in the third set. The Cougars controlled it early taking the first two sets 25-16 and 25-16.

The Cougars then built a huge lead in the third set at 19-11, but then the Warriors found their stride coming back and taking the set 27-25 with some great play from Senior Katie Tornstrom and Junior Lydia Lange. The big momentum shift carried into the fourth set, as the Warriors had a small lead early, but it was lost quickly as the Cougars were able to make some big plays down the stretch with Senior Maddy Michels and Junior Payton Danielson to get the 25-23 win.
