The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday, indicates the alleged theft occurred while he was out on bond for an incident earlier this year in which he is accused of ramming a Rochester police squad vehicle.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office has announced that its deputies are once again participating in a Boarder-to-Boarder Speed Saturation crackdown.

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said the deadly crash occurred around 5 p.m. on Monday.

Preliminary information released by Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin indicates a motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the deadly crash and that one person was killed.

Authorities conducted the operation in April of 2024. A total of seven men were charged in the case.

A man and woman, both from Rochester, were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a truck on the afternoon of May 30.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court earlier this week, states the alleged vehicle theft happened last October.

He is one of four Olmsted County residents to die in crashes involving motorcycles in less than a week.

Deputies and other first responders were called to the scene of the fatal collision around 3:45 Saturday afternoon.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin said deputies responded to the fatal incident around 5:15 Sunday afternoon.
