Lent is here. Whether you are Catholic or just love a good ol' fish fry, here are the best places to dig into the fishy goodness. I asked our listeners on Facebook where to find the best fish fry in the Rochester area, and here are their top picks:

Pappy's Place - Several people said Pappy's here in Rochester. Every Friday (all year round), for $13.50, you can get USA premium deep-fried cod loins, your choice of potato, soup and salad bar. Upgrade to all you can eat for $15.50. They also have a broiled fish option.

BJ's in Whippoorwill - It's not just fish at BJ's! Every Friday, dig into cod, prime rib, and a meat raffle!

Daniel's in Kasson - All you can eat cod every Friday night! Their baked potatoes look out of this world as well.

Rochester VFW - Get to the Rochester VFW for “Fry-Day” - fish, shrimp, baked potatoes, fries, coleslaw, and more - every Friday! They also have live music on Friday evenings.

St. John's Catholic Church - This Friday (March 6th) they are having a special "15th Annual Gary Vanselow Memorial Fish Fry" from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Rochester International Event Center.

Eyota Country Cafe - Tami raved about Eyota Country Cafe on Facebook saying, "They have an all you can eat buffet with fish, chicken, salad, amazing rolls, and soup!!! It's soooo good!"

Charlie's Eatery and Pub - Yelp reviews agree, Charlie's is a stellar place to go for Friday Fish Fry! Nate on Yelp says, "Best All You Can Eat Friday Fish Fry (order it batter-fried or broiled)!! Stop by. You won't be disappointed!"
