The Great Rochester Cardboard Sled Race Is Back Saturday Morning!
SPARK Children's Museum in Rochester says the 9th Annual Great Cardboard Sled Race is Saturday, January 29th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rochester Golf and Country Club. If you'd like to join in, it looks like registration is still open here: Register for Great Annual Cardboard Sled Race.
The sleds can only be made from cardboard, tape, paint, and glue, and if all you'd like to do is watch, that's cool, too. And it is something to watch, all the kids and parents and cardboard, and creativity on display. Sometimes, even, super-fast sleds to watch.
There are awards for...
- · Fastest Sled
- · Furthest Distance Traveled
- · Best Design
According to SPARK,
The Great Cardboard Sled Race embodies the museum’s mission of providing intergenerational and engaging experiences for families in Southeastern Minnesota through the Power of Play. All proceeds from this event will stay right here in our region in support of SPARK.
