The Weeknd is getting ready for his big halftime show performance at the Super Bowl in just a few days. But he's also planning a big tour on the heels of his halftime show performance. Well, I guess not exactly on the heels of, because the tour won't be happening until 2022. He is planning a stop in Minnesota though!

Over at the station, we were super excited to hear that The Weeknd had announced his rescheduled tour dates thinking that they were being rescheduled for later this year. Of course, it's still exciting that a tour is happening at all but 2022 seems so far away.

His tour is called The Afterhours Tour. He'll be in Minnesota towards the beginning of his tour. It starts in Canada on January 14th of 2022 and his first stop in the US is in St. Paul at the Xcel Energy Center on January 21st.

Are you thinking about going to this concert? I'm not a The Weeknd fangirl and yet I'm considering getting tickets just because I feel so deprived of live music and being around people! It's exciting to think about a time when we all get to enjoy live music together again. Hopefully that day will be sooner rather than later.
