When you're successful enough to make into any Forbes list, you know you're doing something right. Which is what these two Minnesotans just did.

They're Erik Brust and Connor Wray, and they founded the JohnnyPops company. And according to this GO-MN story, JohnnyPops has been such a hit that it landed both of them on Forbes magazine's recent '30 Under 30' list in the food and drink category.

The list highlights the top young entrepreneurs in the country, so being included on it is quite an honor. In fact, the site says there were more than 15,000 nominations for just 600 spots. Impressive!

Forbes describes their product this way: "Johnny Pops are smoothies on a stick, with less than half the sugar and fat of traditional ice cream pops. And consumer approve: JohnnyPops have gone from a Minnesota farmers' market phenomenon to the shelves of stores like Kroger, Target, Walmart, Costco and more."

And to think, the guys-- who are both all of 25 years old-- got their start "walking up and down college dorm hallways handing out ice cube sized samples to their fellow students," GO-MN says. And they still run their burgeoning empire out of their office on Alabama Avenue in St. Louis Park.

Gee, when I was 25, you wouldn't have found me on any Forbes list. Heck, back then, I was two years out of college and was more interested in where I was going to drink beer that weekend. (Come to think of it, I'm STILL interested in where I'm going to drink beer this weekend. Some things never change!)
