Caledonia, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Houston County Courthouse campus in Caledonia was locked down for about an hour today due to threats made by what the Sheriff described as an agitated male.

A news release says the Houston County Sheriff's Office was notified shortly after 1 PM by a Court Administration employee that a person had called and stated that he was going to come and shoot a member of the Houston County Attorney's Office and blow up the Courthouse. Sheriff Mark Inglett indicated his staff was able to identify a suspect shortly after hearing of the threat.

He says, a short time after the threat was phoned into the Courthouse campus, the same suspect called two businesses in Caledonia and made threats of violence. It was also later discovered the suspect had left a threatening voicemail at another County office.

The name of the suspect has not been released. Sheriff Inglett says he expects felony-level charges will be filed in the case.
