Undated (KROC-AM News) - There have been at least traffic fatalities in Minnesota since Friday.

The most recent deadly incident occurred Saturday evening in the Brainerd lakes area. The State Patrol says the victim was a 26-year-old Akeley man who was fatally injured when a Jeep pulled out in front of his motorcycle as he was traveling south on Highway 371 at Nisswa. His name has not been released.

The State Patrol also reported the death of a teenage boy in a two-vehicle crash around 9:30 Saturday morning, also in Crow Wing County. The preliminary report on the crash says 17-year-old Sebastian Blondo of Kettle River died after the Jeep he was driving east on a highway about 10 miles northeast of Brainerd when collided with a car in the westbound lane. The other driver, 75-year-old Curtis Watson of Aitkin, was flown to a hospital in St. Cloud with life-threatening injuries.

The third fatality was reported Friday afternoon in Mendota Heights. 66-year-old Margarita Garcia of Inver Grove Heights was killed when the pickup she was riding in left Highway 62, struck a tree and rolled. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
