Two People Injured in Red Wing Crash
Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Red Wing Friday evening.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports a pick-up truck was traveling north on Highway 61 while an SUV was traveling south on County 18 Blvd when the two vehicles collided at the intersection around 6:10 p.m.
The driver of the SUV, 44-year-old Cooper Danajah of Red Wing, was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pick-up, 55-year-old Michael Wagner of Shakopee, suffered minor injuries. He was not transported to a health care facility.
The Red Wing Fire Department, Red Wing Police Department, Red Wing Ambulance, Prairie Island Police Department, and Mayo Helicopter were on the scene to assist in the crash.
