Vikings Cancel Friday Practice for Tony Sparano Memorial
This past weekend Tony Sparano, offensive line coach for the Vikings, unexpectedly passed away. It happened on Sunday morning, he was only 56 years old.
You can read more about his passing HERE. According to the NFL's website, "the Hennepin (Minn.) County Medical Examiner announced Monday that the cause of death was 'arteriosclerotic heart disease.'"
His death happened just days before the start of Vikings training camp. Training camp starts tomorrow, Wednesday, July 28th. They usually training most days of the week but this Friday the 27th is an exception.
The memorial service of Tony Sparano has been set for Friday the 27th and therefore the Vikings have canceled Friday's practice to allow everyone to go to the memorial.
