How You Can Help Rochester Bar Gift Free Beer to Teachers

Teachers deserve a lot of thanks, especially for what they've had to put up with the past few years trying to navigate the pandemic and other historical moments happening around the world. One way that you can thank a teacher in the Rochester, MN area is by participating in a promotion being put on by Wildwood Sports Bar and Grill in Rochester and Byron.

If I remember right I always gave my teacher a gift at the end of the year. I think it was usually some sort of gift card for coffee or maybe a Visa gift card, I can't quite remember. While teachers definitely appreciate those gifts, I think they would also really appreciate a free drink at the end of this school year.

At Wildwood in both Rochester and Byron, they're doing a promotion called 'Buy a Teacher a Beer'. It's really easy. When you dine at either Wildwood location, you can tell your server you'd like to buy a beer for a teacher. They'll give you a beer-shaped ticket, you can leave a fun note if you'd like and that's it! You can buy a teacher a beer throughout the month of May.

If you're a teacher, all you have to do is go to either of the Wildwood locations and show your school ID to get your free beer. ABC 6 says that 100 'gifts' have been purchased as of Tuesday, May 10th.
