The Minnesota State High School League approved a maximized winter season with a 30% reduction in contests, according to the MSHSL's John Millea.

The MSHSL voted on a season of 18 games for boys and girls basketball, instead of the normal 26-game schedule.

While the MSHSL didn't discuss the Winter postseason, they did make the decision to not have anything played after section championships this fall.
