Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A woman from the Twin Cities was transported by ambulance to St. Mary's hospital after a traffic crash involving a garbage truck just west of Rochester this morning.

The State Patrol says 42-year-old Nevin Kamel of Woodbury was driving an SUV south on 60th Avenue when her vehicle collided with a garbage truck that was headed east on Highway 14. The crash was reported shortly after 9:30 a.m.

Kamel's injuries were described as non-life-threatening. The 55-year-old Eyota man driving the garbage truck was not hurt.
