27 Minnesota Mom Approved Questions to Ask Your Kids After School
This question from a Rochester, Minnesota mom couldn't have come at a better time because honestly, this is my house right now too. I've got a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old and truthfully...there are days when being a mom is just extremely frustrating. When I ask my kids how their day was, I'm hearing a whole lot of "fine" answers too. When I change it up to see what the best part of their day was I get "lunch" as the next routine answer.
I asked around, did a little digging, and found a few helpful tips from some other moms who are in the trenches too.
27 Conversational Questions Parents Can Ask Their Kids After the School Day
Obviously, every tip isn't going to work for every kid and family, but if you are stuck in a "fine" rut too, these might be worth trying.
What other questions would you add to the list?
I'd love to hear what questions work at your house with your children? Or, maybe you've got another tip that would help this mom out (and me!) to get our kids to have longer conversations than the one-word answers of "fine" and "lunch". If you've got suggestions, please, from one momma to another, HELP US OUT and send your tips to me on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio or to my e-mail at jessica.williams@townsquaremedia.com.
