Quack, quack, quack! Tis the season! It's waterfowl season so it's not too strange to see massive flocks of these tasty morsels flying through the sky or floating in huge rafts out on the open water and they make their way south for the winter. One such flock or flocks were so massive it messed with the radar for the National Weather Service in Duluth. It was so big and had a heat signature, they thought it was a wildfire! Check out the radar GIF below!

The National Weather Service in Duluth tweeted out the images of what they saw on radar after notifying officials near the Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge.

It is hard to make out the outlined bodies of water on the radar images, but the giant flock of ducks seems to originate off of Rice Lake, and they got moving pretty quick for such a large number of birds taking off from what we can guess was the lake itself.
