A record breaking…..Lightning Bolt

Mother nature definitely knows how to put on a show.

Lightning is something that we marvel at, and also it can cause a ton of damage. Most of us have seen storms where it seems like lightning is all that happens, some of us have even been close enough to it to be terrified of it. I have even seen lightning bounce of the ground. And that is a sight to see, keep in mind thought that was in Arizona. But can you imagine looking up and seeing a lightning bolt in the sky stretch almost 200 miles across the sky?

Well it did happen back in 2007 in Oklahoma. The thought of that should just make you mind go crazy. 200 MILES.

Dailymail.co.uk has the entire story on this record breaking storm. But what a world we live in where things like this happen. We get our share of thunderstorms here in Minnesota, but nothing like this one.
