Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A car reported stolen from a rural Rochester bar earlier this year has been recovered and two people were arrested on suspicion they had been driving the vehicle.

The 2001 Lexus was stolen after it was left running outside Shar’s Country Palace and Bar Feb 4th.

An Olmsted County deputy who was checking a Rochester motel for a warrant suspect Wednesday spotted the vehicle.

After he saw a woman get into the vehicle, the deputy talked to her. The woman eventually gave the keys to the vehicle to the deputy and she and a man who was with her were arrested for possession of stolen property.

It’s not known if they actually stole the car.
