Charges Brought in Rochester Sexual Assault Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two men are facing felony charges connected to a Rochester sexual assault case involving a juvenile female.
Olmsted County prosecutors Tuesday charged 24-year-old Dejuan Gray of Rochester with first-degree attempted criminal sexual conduct and second-degree criminal sexual conduct. 21-year-old Timothy Bremer of Mankato also faces a first-degree attempted criminal sexual conduct charge along with second-degree attempted criminal sexual conduct charge.
The criminal complaint states the victim was messaging with Bremmer on social media and went to his Rochester apartment in January of 2021. She told investigators that she felt like a helpless prisoner during the incident that happened with Gray and Bremer happened inside of the apartment, the complaint says.
The victim shared a message she received from Bremmer with investigators in which he accused the victim of lying about his involvement in the incident. Investigators contacted Gray by phone. Gray denied any involvement and did not share his location with authorities. Both suspects are scheduled to make their first court appearances on August 18.
